Another musical instrument from the strumming family, another guitar, even more modern. Almost everyone knows this instrument, as it is often seen on television or in various musical groups.

It is clear that the predecessor of the electric classical guitar. The development of the electric guitar began with the development of other technology and the experimentation of scientists and experts. The first electric guitars were created at the beginning of the 20th century, then they were perfected and upgraded. With a guitar, a sound is created when you strum a string. In the case of an electric guitar, small magnets transfer the vibration that occurs when we strum the string, or convert the vibration of the string into an electric vibration - this is how the sound we know as the sound of an electric guitar is created. Since the body of the guitar does not play as big a role in the creation of sound as in classical and acoustic guitars, where it serves as a resonant body, the body of an electric guitar is full, usually wooden with small accessories that take care of the conversion of vibrations or enable additional functions of the guitar. An electric guitar also has metal strings.

The program is intended for everyone who enjoys playing this instrument, we recommend prior knowledge of the basics of classical guitar. In the electric guitar program, we get to know the instrument as a whole, how it works, and learn the differences between strums, correct posture and playing the guitar with the fingers, and develop musical ear. Knowledge is consolidated with technical exercises and renewed by playing songs - most of which are created specifically for this curriculum. With the students, we learn to play chords and create our own compositions, play with a pick and various effects for the electric guitar. We learn how to perform a popular song of the student's choice, while the teacher guides and helps the students write their own songs. Students learn to perform music independently and participate in small chamber ensembles.

Students learn the basics of the instrument and its rules, learn about different ways of playing the instrument, perform various compositions and songs, strengthen self-confidence and persistence, concentration and thoughts, while playing gives them new knowledge about themselves, relaxes and calms them, and helps them overcome everyday problems.
