Music lessons (6-7 years)
The second program related to the teaching of music is intended for a little older or those who have previously attended the Music Lessons program.
The objectives of the course are similar to those of Musical Hours, except that in this program we deepen our knowledge a little and begin to encounter musical notation.
In a similar way as before, that is mostly through the game, the new content presented to the children is connected with music. Children continue to develop their musical ear and at the same time become all-round musically active. They learn public speaking and creatively express themselves musically - they sing, act, dance. They learn more demanding melodic and rhythmic patterns on Orff's instruments, which they can write artistically. They become familiar with musical notation, musical notation and all related musical elements. They learn to recognize the elements of a musical notation, read a musical notation and write it down. The student's mental abilities, positive attitude towards art and self-confidence are strengthened. The child's creativity and interests are encouraged - where he is doing well, we challenge him with more difficult tasks, otherwise we help him and solve the problem together. In the group, children also learn mutual cooperation - how important it is to help others, how successfully we cooperate and listen to each other. By learning songs and playing musical instruments, children strengthen their musical knowledge and find their own musical expression, during musical performances their imagination, creativity and movement are encouraged, they have the opportunity to train their hearing and singing at the piano, they learn to listen attentively to compositions with different accents and accompany instructive musical fairy tales, during which they learn new musical concepts, learn new melodies and/or rhythmic patterns and finally sing a song.

The program is an extremely rich experience for children who are interested in music in one way or another. They will get to know many different musical instruments, from the most famous to the most common, perform their compositions on Orff instruments and have the opportunity to see, hear and maybe even try some exotic instruments from different parts of the world. With the children, we explore what music is, how we would define it and how and for what it is used in our country and elsewhere. We get to know sound, tone, noise, silence, we listen to the sounds around us and sounds from nature. Children get a holistic view of music and a broader musical knowledge appropriate for their age. Therefore, students listen carefully (compositions, sounds, performance, musical fairy tale), perform (play, sing, musical games) and create (creatively accompany their singing with instruments, sing and perform experientially, invent their own lyrics/dance to the melody). We learn to carefully observe musical instruments and their sounds, which is why we create various musical instruments ourselves during lessons.
