GAŠPER PERŠL. LEARNING THE DRUMS

Drummer Gašper Peršl collaborated and collaborates with some pop/rock groups (Vlado Kreslin and Mali Bogovi, Olivija, Ulixes, Blueflames, Severa Gjurin, Mia Žnidarič, Oto Pestner, Andrej Šifrer, Elevators,...), with many Slovenian orchestras and big bands (RTVSLO Symphony Orchestra, Slovenian Police Orchestra, Slovenian Army Orchestra, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra,...), with some foreign jazz musicians (Billy Harper, Reggie Workman, Peter Mihelič,...), and with a number of excellent Slovenian jazz creators. He played in musicals in the Slovenian Folk Theater of Celje and in the City Theater of Ljubljana (Jean Paul Marat, Some are Hot, Witches of Eastwick, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Lysistrata,...) He studied at the SGBŠ Ljubljana, majoring in jazz and classical, at prof. Aleš Rendla and Prof. Boris Šurbek.
