SEMINAR FOR SINGING - MARJETA PRUDIČ
Marjeta Prudič is a jazz singer and chansonist, who is known mainly as the lead vocalist of Počenh Škafov. She designed her expression with a wide variety of models. First with classical piano lessons, then by playing the clarinet in the Cerkniška band and learning to sing with Irena Vidic, which opened the door for her to the jazz department of the Ljubljana Conservatory. She was the court singer of Big Band Cerknica and Godbe Cerknica, performed with the Big Band of RTV Slovenia, and with Počeni Škafi she has already performed more than a hundred concerts in Slovenia, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany and the Balkans. Recently, she has been increasingly attracted to the French chanson, which she studied for a year in Toulouse. With Počenimi Škafi, she plays original music inspired by the lively rhythms of the New Orleans streets, and she also devotes herself more and more to original creations. At the end of April, he releases a new full-length album with Počenimi Škafi.
Jernej Juren is a writer, comic screenwriter and musician who, in case of interest, will lead a Sunday workshop of original creation. In the past, he wrote songs for Voranca Boh, Ensambel za slovese and Fed Horses, but today he works almost exclusively with Počení Škafi. Otherwise, he is the co-author of Kosmateg krimič, the first Slovenian author comic published on the American market, the author of the collection of short stories Ekoton and the literary series Spodobi se i zameri se.
