Circus
The word circus originally refers to a group of performers that includes clowns, acrobats, dancers, musicians, tightrope walkers and trapeze artists, jugglers, magicians, unicyclists and other artists. The beginnings of the circus were created in the distant past, so it developed over time and adopted new elements from different cultures. The word circus in its origin and literal meaning means circle or ring. One of the stories about its origin is that the first circus games were organized by the goddess Circe in honor of her father Helios, the god of the sun.
In our circus program, we will devote ourselves to the circus holistically, curiously and researching. Some say that life is a circus, and if we start from the true meaning of the word, life is really one big closed circle. Everything is connected and intertwined, just as the circus is inseparably connected with music. In our circus, there will be no tigers jumping through rings of fire, but we will try ourselves in similar activities. The circus is an excellent activity for the body and mind, as we exercise holistically, learn to use our body, strengthen our mobility and motor skills. Learning special tricks and circus skills strengthens our concentration and attention, while at the same time it teaches us perseverance, strengthens the connection between the two halves of the brain, ensures good blood circulation and, above all, plenty of laughter and good will.
The participants of the program will learn to juggle with various objects such as balls, hoops and skittles and maybe even some musical instruments, we will get to know a unicycle and of course learn to use it, we will spin Chinese plates, walk on a tightrope, learn many fun and educational tricks and many other things.
