KLARA JELOVŠEK, LEARNING VIOLIN, LEARNING VIOLA
She first encountered the violin in 2005, when she entered GŠ Vrhnik in the class of professor Đorđe Berak. Under his mentorship, she then continued at GŠ Vič-Rudnik. At the same time, she also attended piano lessons with professor Irina Milivojević, with whom she completed a junior music school in piano.
In 2014, she successfully passed the entrance exam for secondary music school. She enrolled at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet in the class of professor Žiga Branko, where in 2018 she completed the 4th year of the artistic high school with excellent results. She passed the entrance exam at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, where she is currently completing the 1st stage of university studies in the class of regular. prof. Monika Skalar.
During her musical educational journey, she participated in several competitions at home and elsewhere (Italy, Serbia), where she received beautiful awards. She also participated in the TEMSIG solfeggio competition, where she received a silver award in the first stage.
She was part of several different chamber groups (string quartet, string trio, piano trio, organ trio), with which they won awards at domestic and international competitions. She also likes to play in a duo with her sister Ajda on the cello.
She participated in various orchestras - first in the symphony orchestras of the music schools she attended, and then also as a substitute in the GŠ Ribnica orchestra and in the Mati domovina Festival Orchestra. In the 2017/18 school year, she was also the head of the 2nd violin section of the KGBL symphony orchestra, and she is often invited as concertmaster of the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, which operates under the auspices of the Europea Music Society. In 2019, she joined the Simfonika Vrhnik orchestra under the baton of Marko Fabiani, where she currently holds the position of deputy concertmaster.
